The day we first met we only spoke for a while. But I couldn't forget your beautiful smile. That lovely face with those eyes so blue. I thought and thought about only you. We were together for twenty seven years. Shared love and happiness, laughter and tears. But when this illness came along, and you were racked with pain. Never once did you question why? Never once did you complain. And now that you’ve gone, and we are apart. I can’t bear the sadness I feel in my heart. You showed me a love so gentle and true. My darling I never felt worthy of you.
